Sowa is a company from Taiwan that recently launched a 3G flip phone with mobile banking features and the device is called Sowa D309. It’s pictured below and reviewed in the source link below, complete with photo/video samples from the camera.
This sounds like a modestly specced handset, with a numeric keyboard and a RFID sensor at the back, for payments. It packs a 2.4 inch LCD display, a 2 MP camera and stereo speakers, as well as a Mediatek MT6268 processor. The RAM quantity is around 47 MB and there’s 128 MB + 64 MB of ROM available. There’s a 1300 mAh removable battery in the mix as well, plus WCDMA/GSM support.
Bluetooth 2.1, a microSD card slot and a case with different color choices complete the feature list. The product weighs 130 grams, measures 21 mm in thickness and comes in gold, black and purple. It offers support for handwriting on the 2.4 inch screen and somehow manages to integrate a dual LED flashlight. Its stereo speakers are quite impressive, being able to reach 89 decibels, while the numeric keys are big enough for any user to press comfortably.
