Google wireless service will only use network with best signal

Google wireless service will only use network with best signal

Rumors of Google’s wireless services are all the hype right now. We don’t know all the news quite yet, but one of the most concrete details is that the service will be backed by both Sprint and T-Mobile networks.
How will this work? Will you be able to choose which carrier you want? Can you swap over to the other one when you want? These are some of the most asked questions regarding the matter, and now we may have an answer.
A new rumor coming from The Wall Street Journal claims Google is developing a technology that will allow the phone to automatically switch between carriers. This would be based on which carrier has the best signal at any given place or time.
Opinion: If this is true, this would likely be a game-changer in the industry. We know of other prepaid wireless service providers that work with multiple carriers, but none of them switch to and from carriers. This is a whole other level of making sure you have signal wherever you go.
