LG announces 4 new mid-range smartphones
Are you looking to get yourself an affordable handset? LG is very good at making mid-range devices, which also happen to come with most of the cool features you will find in their high-end iterations. Today they have 4 new smartphones to introduce – the LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy.
These all come with modest specs, and they are not very different from each other. The main differences are in the screens and battery sizes. The LG Magna comes with a 5-inch HD screen and the LG Spirit features a 4.7-inch HD panel. Meanwhile, the Leon features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and the Joy is the lowest-end with a 4-inch WVGA screen.
Other specs include a 1.2-1.3 GHz processor, 512-1 GB of RAM and 4-8 GB of RAM. Pricing details have not been revealed, but we know these should be very well priced and will start rolling out to select markets starting this week.
Opinion: I happen to love LG’s low-end devices. They come with all the cool features and fair performance. MEanwhile, you can opt for devices like the Motoo G and Moto E, which are great, but don’t have all the neat features compared to their high-end counterparts.
