Huawei Expo/ SnapTo Pops up on Amazon, Meant for US Market

Huawei’s big launch event for the P8 flagship is a week away, but today another one of the company’s models interests us. We’re talking about the Huawei Expo, that just popped up on Amazon and it’s meant for the US market, but the phone is also named SnapTo in some descriptions.

This is a budget phone, that’s priced at $180 and can be seen as a Moto G rival. The specs are quite good, including a 5 inch TFT LCD 720p display, a Snapdragon 400 CPU and 1 GB of RAM. The product also comes with 8 GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a 5 MP back camera and a front 2 MP shooter. There’s a 2200 mAh battery on board and Android 4.4 as the OS.
The handset works on AT&T and T-Mobile LTE bands (2, 4, 5 and 12). We can’t yet say if Android Lollipop is expected to arrive as an update, but we’ll see. The preorder page for the product keeps mentioning the name SnapTo, so maybe that’s the official name of the handset. It’ll start shipping on April 9th in SUA in black or white.
