[TUTORIAL] Setting up DVB-T on Android with Wetek Theater
Hi There!
This step-by-step tutorial will help setting up the DVB-T or DVB-C connection on Wetek Play.
First of all, connect the TV cable on Wetek Play.
Turn on your Wetek play and you'll see the main desktop.
Now, we need to select TV app.Important Note:If by accident you select "Remember this choice".
The next time you select "TV" on your Wetek, you'll be redirected automatically to the first choice you've made.
To revert this, in the main menu, select the "TV" option.
At this point you need to make a long click on "ok" button on your remote control.
Select "Wetek Theater".
And this screen will show up.But, If the screen above doesn't show up, you just have to do the following steps:
On your remote, press the "wetek button", this way, you'll open the options menu.
Select "Antenna settings" tab, then go to "signal type" and choose "DVB-T Allband" or "DVB-C Allband"
You have there a LCN option. In this tutorial, the option is turned on, this way, all my channels will be sorted by their LCN Number, but once you've finished scanning your channels, you can go to the options and change their order.
Now, you can choose between auto or manual scan. In this tutorial i used Auto scan.
As you can see in the picture below the Wetek starts automatically searching for you channels.
This may take a few minutes to complete the scan.
Once the scan is complete press the "Back button".
And it's done!
On Wetek remote press the back button and you're all set to watch DVB-T channels with your Wetek Play!
If you want to see the list of the channels, it's easy!
Just press right or left on your Wetek remote control.
If you want to select the radio channels. You have to "air mouse" by pressing the button on the back of your Wetek Play remote control.
Then click on the arrows and navigate through Radio or Favorites list.
