The first NVIDIA Shield tablet turned heads within both the gaming and general tablet community

The first NVIDIA Shield tablet turned heads within both the gaming and general tablet community thanks to its powerful 2.2GHz Tegra K1 chip.
Now it has announced the second generation of this acclaimed device will pack an even more powerful Tegra X1 chip, which is said to be 40% more powerful than its predecessor.
It is expected to up the stakes in terms of memory, with rumours hinting at 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.
Lots more speculation has been offered but we’ll report once it becomes fact.
