This quadcopter offers very good performance and quality for the price. It was originally being marketed as a WiFi FPV quadcopter (with optional camera pod), which caused many to lose interest. But ignoring the FPV spin on this quadcopter, it is an excellent quadcopter in its own right that deserves another look. Hence this new thread which will not discuss FPV, and will mainly focus on its flight performance, and aerial video capability.
The quadcopter includes a configurable Mode 1, 2, 3, & 4 transmitter (very unique for a "toy" quad). Range on this transmitter is also very good. Have repeatedly flown this quadcopter past 100m, and have not yet reached a point where I've lost reception. Need to do a future range test with my wife and dog acting as spotters . It's an excellent stable flier for beginners in low mode, yet a very maneuverable and acrobatic flier for experts in expert mode. Really, it's like a Syma X5C on steroids (and with a much better transmitter). Future videos will demonstrate its acrobatics capability, along with aerial video using an attached 808 #16 keychain camera.
